Northrop Grumman Appoints Steve Hogan Sector Vice President and General Manager, Integrated Logistics and Modernization Division

HERNDON, Va., Jan. 17, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Steve Hogan sector vice president and general manager for the Integrated Logistics and Modernization division within its Technical Services sector effective Jan. 26.

In his new position, Hogan will have executive responsibility for the division and its three business units focused on global logistics and modernization, systems logistics and modernization, and operationally responsive systems.

“Steve’s extensive industry experience and demonstrated leadership skills made him the best choice for this position,” said Chris Jones, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Technical Services. “He has an impressive record of successfully managing large complex programs by delivering desired results to customers while integrating innovative products and processes that enable affordability.”

Hogan most recently served as vice president and integrated product team leader for Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems’ F/A-18 and Information Operations and Electronic Attack Programs. Since joining Northrop Grumman, Hogan has served in a variety of roles spanning program leadership, risk management, logistics and sustainment. He was a Department of Navy and Department of Defense acquisition professional prior to joining Northrop Grumman.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in engineering management from George Washington University. He also graduated from the U.S. Navy’s senior executive development program and completed several advanced education courses, including the Wharton Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Hogan was awarded Meritorious and Superior Civilian Service Awards by the Department of Navy for his outstanding program management contributions. He is president of the Association of Old Crows New York Metropolitan Chapter.
